FAQ

  • Do you provide therapy online?
I do provide therapy via Telehealth ( video chat or telephone). Due to COVID 19 all therapy sessions are currently being provided via telehealth using a secure video system or phone if preferred. I will resume in office face to face sessions in the future.
  • How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?
A Good question! After, reading my ABOUT section on this site the next step would be to schedule a consultation. After the initial consultation, if you feel comfortable we can move forward with scheduling the initial session. The Initial session will allow us to get to know each other better. Generally, people know after the first session if they want to work with me.
  • Can therapy really help me feel better?
Many people have found that participating in therapy has helped them feel better, gain confidence and manage their symptoms. In addition, research suggests that persons with mental health problems fair better with participation in therapeutic services versus no intervention or only medication management.

Generally appointments are weekly. By meeting weekly we are able to progress forward on your treatment goals at a faster pace. Once some or all of your goals are met we can discuss the appropriateness of fewer sessions and/or termination.
